Board of Directors
Sustainable is governed by the Board of its General Partner, Sustainable Property Management Limited. The Board meets quarterly as a matter of course and periodically to consider acquisitions or sales of property as opportunities arise. The Board approves all acquisitions and disposals of property assets. The Board members ‘related entities are actively invested in Sustainable. This means their interests are aligned with ensuring Sustainable performs well and that risks are carefully managed.
Ian Kuperus
Chair
Ian is an experienced director and investor, including in property, engineering and technology ventures. Ian founded Tax Management NZ in 2003 which was the first New Zealand tax payment intermediary. Ian and his wife Wendy have founded a number of charities including The Wilberforce Foundation, Whakatupu Aotearoa Foundation and The Primary Healthcare Initiative.
Stuart Shepherd
Director
Stuart has been involved in property and infrastructure businesses for most of his career, with an emphasis on strategy, pricing and allocating capital. He is an economist and Chartered Accountant.
John Bolam
Director
John is an experienced director who has been involved in property investment, property management and land development for over 40 years. John was a founding director of CatoBolam, a land surveying, civil engineering and planning consultancy based in Auckland and Whangarei.
Vaughan Darby
Director
Vaughan is an experienced director and entrepreneur who has been investing in and managing commercial property for more than twenty years.
